The phrase Power Almighty Without Resource is a quote translated into English from Voltaire’s “Poème sur le désastre de Lisbonne” (Poem on the Lisbon Disaster). In 1755 an earthquake hit Lisbon killing almost 40,000 people, in response to the disaster Voltaire aired his grievances to God. The act of fighting with someone/something you cannot physically see or ever hope to beat, but continuing to fight for what you believe in any way is very admirable and what I was trying to explore.
